Criteria and Conditions for Obtaining American Board

Requirements for Earning the Accredited Professional Diploma from the American Board of Education and Training

The applicant is granted the “Professional Diploma” upon fulfilling one of the following conditions:

Option 1:

Attendance of an accredited training course with no less than 21 training hours.

Option 2:

  • Possession of at least three years of practical experience in the required professional or training field.
  • The experience must be documented through official documents (such as certificates of experience or work).
  • The applicant is required to prepare a work file or study based on specific topics provided by the Board’s committee, which will be evaluated accordingly.

Option 3:

  • The trainee is provided with a self-learning training curriculum.
    Alternatively, specific training content and open resources may be assigned to the trainee for review and application.
  • The final assessment is based on a test or practical work file, and based on the scientific committee’s decision, the accredited professional diploma is granted.

Conditions for Earning the Professional Bachelor's Degree

(According to the Standards of the American Board of Education and Training)

The Professional Bachelor’s Degree is awarded upon fulfilling one of the following options:

Option 1 – Equivalency of Experience:

  • Attendance of training is not required.
    The applicant is required to prepare three research papers, each no less than 20 pages, in fields related to the specialty.
  • Proof of at least four years of professional experience in the relevant field must be provided.
  • The research papers and experience are evaluated by the scientific committee, and the Professional Bachelor’s Degree is awarded based on the committee’s decision.

Option 2 – Through Training and Study:

  • Enrollment in a training program totaling 40 training hours, under one of the following models:

Direct training (in-person or online).
Self-directed learning through study material with regular weekly meetings and continuous follow-up.

  • Passing a final exam at the end of the program.
  • Preparation of one research paper on a topic determined by the board, which will be evaluated by the committee.
    Upon meeting all conditions, the

Conditions for Earning the Professional Fellowship Certificate

(According to the Standards of the American Board of Education and Training)

To obtain the Professional Fellowship Certificate, the applicant must fulfill the following conditions:

Basic Requirement:

The trainee can choose one of the following two options:

Option 1 – Through Training and Applied Projects:

Choose the professional specialty in which the fellowship is desired.
Participate in an online training program within the selected field.
Prepare two research papers, each no less than 20 pages A4.
The research papers will be evaluated by the relevant scientific committee.

Option 2 – Equivalency of Professional Experience:

If the applicant has documented professional experience of at least four years in the desired fellowship field, they can directly apply for the fellowship.
A research paper in the specialty must be submitted, with a minimum of 25 pages A4, without the need to attend training or prepare partial research projects.
The Professional Fellowship Certificate is awarded after evaluating and approving the research paper by the scientific committee.

Master's Degree Granting System According to the Decision of the Scientific Committee in the American Board of Education and Training

A student is granted the professional master’s degree according to one of the following options:

Option 1:

  • The student is required to complete a training and academic program totaling 60 hours (online or in-person).
  • The student prepares a master’s thesis on the specified topic, consisting of 50 pages (A4), in English or both English and Arabic.
  • The thesis must include credible scientific references.
  • The thesis is evaluated by the scientific committee, and based on this evaluation, the professional master’s degree is granted.

Option 2 (Equivalency of Practical Experience):

  • Practical experience of at least five years in the field of specialization can be recognized.
  • Official proof of experience must be provided (such as work certificates or documented experience).
  • The applicant prepares a master’s thesis of 50 pages (A4), in English, with references.
  • The professional master’s degree is granted based on the evaluation of the thesis and the level of practical experience by the scientific committee.

The Professional Doctorate Degree is awarded upon fulfilling one of the following options:

Option 1:

  • The student is required to complete a training and academic program totaling 90 hours (online or in-person).
  • The student is provided with a curriculum or research topic by the scientific committee.
  • The student prepares a doctoral thesis of 50 pages (A4) in English or both English and Arabic, ensuring proper citation of scientific references.
  • The thesis is evaluated by the scientific committee, and the professional doctorate degree is awarded based on the evaluation results.

Option 2 (Equivalency of Practical Experience):

  • The applicant has a minimum of ten years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • The experience must be officially documented, with proof of outstanding achievements or professional contributions throughout the career.
  • The applicant prepares a doctoral thesis of 50 pages (A4) in English, along with scientific references.
  • The professional doctorate degree is awarded after the evaluation of both the thesis and the experience by the specialized scientific committee.
